ANTHONY ALBANESE, PRIME MINISTER: Lest we forget, is Australia's eternal promise to all those men and women who have worn our uniform, who defended our nation, defended our democracy, and risked their lives in order to preserve the Australian way of life. Today, on November 11, we pause to reflect and pay thanks to all those service men and women who are serving our nation today, but all those who have served us in the past. And on this 30th anniversary of the interment of the Unknown Soldier, we remember that 30 years ago, Paul Keating, at the interment of the Unknown Soldier, gave a remarkable speech of thanks and praise for all those who defended us including those who we don't know. Those who with the Unknown Soldier we don't know as Lieutenant General Fox said today. We don't know whether he was a brother, a husband - what we do know is he served and fell defending our nation, defending Australia's interests, and for that we pay thanks. Thank you.
