ANTHONY ALBANESE, PRIME MINISTER OF AUSTRALIA: Prime Minister, welcome to Australia for your first official visit. We, of course, have met many times here in Australia, and also in New Zealand and a very warm welcome to you. The relationship between our two nations is a relationship of friends and partners. And that of course, this year, we celebrate the 40th anniversary of our closer economic agreement. And what we see is the interaction on a personal level of friendship, the relationship. We need to streamline any further bumps which are there, and I know that you're very keen on that, as well, for both of our, in the interest of both of our nations. And it's terrific, I thank you, as well for indicating as Kiwis always do, that when Australia needs help, you'll be there. And you know that you can rely upon us as well at times of natural disasters. This climate change stuff means that we are having more frequent, more intense natural disasters. And I really appreciate the fact that that relationship is so strong. And this is an example of one plus one equals more than two. And you are very welcome here, I look forward to our discussions today. And I look forward to building on the relationships that we've built on a personal level over a number of years and translating that into benefits for both Australia and New Zealand.
CHRISTOPHER LUXON, PRIME MINISTER OF NEW ZEALAND: Kia Ora, good morning. Thank you, Prime Minister. It’s fantastic to be here on what is my first international visit. As you know, we have no closer friends or ally than Australia. It's a relationship that's incredibly important to us. It's one that I want to put more urgency and more energy behind to make sure that we do balance what is in both of our interests and a much more secure, and stable and more prosperous region. And so I'm looking forward to our conversations as well in building and deepening our relationships, as well, because I think between the two of us, we can do great things for our country, and importantly great things in our region. So looking forward to our conversations on defence and security, our economic agenda and how we continue to deepen our people to people ties. So again, I say thank you to all of you for so generously hosting us here today at such short notice.

So, no, but it's just marvellous to be here.
